CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR NURSING SCIENCES

Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati has been established under the aegis of AWES, as a center of excellence for Nursing Sciences within the precincts of 151 Base Hospital located at Basistha, Guwahati , as an interim measure, with all facilities of modern classrooms with LCD projectors for computer aided teaching, library, and fully equipped laboratories and an anatomy museum.

The permanent campus of the institute is being constructed in a serene environment on the VIP road in the heart of Guwahati city with state of the art facilities of an ultramodern college with excellent laboratories, library, playgrounds, accommodation for teaching and administrative staff and a modern hostel for students.

The institute offers a course leading to the award of a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing by Guwahati University.

The duration of the course is three and a half years of active study and six months of training of rotatory internship.
